A military service disabled veteran, Taniki's combination of creativity, military background and love of others makes her an amazingly inspirational speaker. As Founders with her husband, Brandon Richard, of JT Inspire LLC, Taniki is a creative thinker. JT Inspire is an event planning, marketing and advertising company that promotes Taniki as an Inspirational Keynote Speaker and Public Figure. JT Inspire LLC has a community based branch. The JT Inspire Entry Level Public Speaking Program (ELPS) empowers and prepares underprivileged young adults and adults for advancement in their personal and professional lives. Not only has she written poems and stories since she was a little girl, in 2001 she took the love of writing with her into the Marine Corps. Throughout her service, she performed numerous Spoken Word events at poetry cafés and venues in Japan, Southern California, North Carolina, Chicago and Virginia. Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Continuous Process Improvement Green Belt and Black Belt trained by the AIRSpeed Naval Air Systems Command, she led and facilitated over 190 group projects for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Commands streamlining their procedures, saving the Navy time and money, enhancing military member's work cohesion and quality of life. As an Avionics Electronics Technician Instructor for three years, she gained expert knowledge in teaching and evaluating curriculum. She used those years to hone her public speaking skills by teaching her military occupation and giving over dozens of lectures as the Suicide Awareness Facilitator and Sexual Assault Prevention/ Response Advocate for the Navy and Marine Corps East Coast Commands. During her 11-year service, she deployed to Al Asad, Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007. She retired having suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Major Depression. Her personal hardships were overcome through education, research, and over a decade of experience conquering the "self-sabotage-give up" attitude. In 2014, her published article in the Hampton Roads Gazeti Newspaper recognized teens who excelled academically and volunteered in their communities. Taniki appeared in a televised documented drama of self-transformation called Fox43 Hampton Roads Reality TV show "I Got This!" On the show, Taniki took her health and fitness to new heights by running a full marathon. Active participation as an Alumni Peer Mentor in the Wounded Warrior Project allows her to give back to her brothers and sisters in arms. She is an active member of Regent University Student Veterans Alliance, Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Association of Professional Women, Women Marines Association, Regent University's Alumni Association Society78 and the CBN/Regent Toastmasters Club. Taniki opens live on stage as an Introductory Speaker at the Kimball Theatre in Williamsburg, Virginia for clean comedy shows. She promotes goodwill in her community as the Miss Planetary Trinidad & Tobago Delegate for the Las Vegas 2017 Miss Planetary International Beauty Pageant. She is passionate about community outreach inspiring others through volunteering and leading bible study groups. Her pursuit to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Leadership at Regent University keeps her focused. As a Keynote Speaker, Taniki provides alternative solutions that take a deeper look into the thought processes blocking forward thinking change. Taniki's fresh and unique inspirational messages are customized speaking to groups at public schools, various organizations and private events.
