Jacobo León was born on May 1st, 1988 in Guamúchil, Sinaloa, México. He is a Director and Editor and co-founder of INk Studios in 2012 along side with Marco Saenz. When his parents bought him his first camera for Christmas at the age of eleven, he immediately started to make short films animated on Microsoft PowerPoint and live-action short films a few years later. After graduating high school, he tries to study cinema at C.U.E.C. (Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos) in México City but wasn't accepted because he was too young compared to all other applicants at the time. Later on in 2007, he attended at C.A.A.V. (Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales) in his hometown Guadalajara, Jalisco, where he met Daniel Varela, whom he considers to this date his film mentor during the time he studied at that place. In 2010 he moved to México City where he met Marco Saenz, who after working together in several projects including short films and TV, they decided to open a film studio in 2012 that would allow them to make their future film projects.
