Helena Sardinha

Helena Sardinha is a undergraduate student in Film at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California. During her period at the school she has worked in several short films working in different crew positions, but mainly as an assistant director and producer. Back in Brazil, her birth country, she was a research artist of PACT Research Group of Performing Arts and Technology in the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Inside the university, she participated in creative multidisciplinary processes and in creations of independent cinema content. Also, she worked as the coordinator of Academic Week of Film in the university. She has a Middle Level Technical Course degree on Contemporary Dance from the School of Theater Bolshoi in Brazil, where had contact with classical dance, contemporary dance, circus techniques, popular dances, musical theories and practices and theatrical performances.
