Mirell Ventura

Mirell has always been surrounded by strong-minded, business oriented and ambitious people. Her father was Mayor in the Free State province, in South Africa and her Mother was in top level government politics for 14years. In 2005 Mirell became the first ever elected Junior Mayor of the Western Cape Province, Walkerbay coastal region (South Africa). Mirell soon realized whilst completing her Mayoral obligations, that she has an excellent knack for organizing and managing vast projects and fundraisers, as well as marketing these projects. With this ambition in mind, Mirell completed her Bachelor of Business science degree (Double major in Marketing and International Business), all the while balancing a successful modelling career with various magazine covers under her belt. Shortly after, Mirell completed a film/presenting & media course. Her first project was producing a Television lifestyle series called C.I.G.A.R.E (2009). After this was a project called Cambion Chronicles (2014), an original Sci-Fi concept. It also forms part of a full length feature film in development. Recently her most rewarding and exciting undertaking was being a producer on the feature length horror film, From a House on Willow Street (2016). Mirell absolutely embraces her role as a strong female producer. She welcomes the challenges equally as the rewards of creating and producing films. For her there is no better career and no greater satisfaction then making films.
