Ivo Huahua was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He is a writer/director and producer, known for Stutter (2016) and Juanito (2015). He is the winner of the 2016 DGA Student Jury Award, Latino Category, East, for his film "Stutter". He writes short stories in his blog "Pageturner" and was the Casting Director of the feature film Life & Nothing More (2017), directed by award-winning director Antonio Mendez Esparza. Ivo pursued a Master in Fine Arts in Film Production in Florida State University - College of Motion Picture Arts, graduating with honors in the Directing Class of 2016. He lives in New York City and works as a Film Location Specialist and Producer.
