Caitlyn Keefer

Caitlyn Keefer is an actress, writer, director, producer, and editor from South Carolina. Ever since she was a young girl, her dream was to always be in movies. Born with disabilities such a scoliosis and low-muscle tone, then at age 3 she became paralyzed from the chest down due to a medical malpractice. Despite her difficulties, Caitlyn's dream still stays strong to this day. She's very passionate about her acting and doesn't want to be known as just "a girl in a wheelchair". Caitlyn wants to make movies that can incorporate anyone, disabled or not. She wishes to see more diversity with disabilities in film/TV and theatre; give actors with real disabilities a chance to be seen and heard, but not have the disability as the main focus of the character or film. She wants to break barriers and stereotypes about all disabled actors. She loves horror/psychological thriller movies the most. Her inspirations are Stephen King, Alfred Hitchcock, Don Mancini, Stanley Kubrick, Brad Dourif, Will Smith, Walt Disney, the list can go on and on.
