Simge is a Turkish singer, songwriter and composer. Simge Sagin was born on August 8, 1981 in Sisli, Istanbul. Her father is also a musician. At the age of 12 she started playing guitar and composing. She continued her studies on music as a graduate of Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory. She got a chance to work with many musicians like Alaaddin Yavasça, Sadahaddin Içli in the university. She earned her first professional experience in Zeynep Dizdar's orchestra. Later, she accompanied as a vocalist to many musicians like Gülsen, Yasar, Serdar Ortaç. She made a duet with Kiraç for the TV series Annem, which started in 2007. The song "Annem(Mommy)" was among the 20 most listened to songs in the digital media in 2010. She also contributed to the work of many screen credits and TV series music. In 2011 she released her first EP album called Yeni Çikti(newly minted). "Ödeme Vakti" was selected as the hit single of the album. In 2014, she produced her second EP album called Beep Beep . The clip reached over 45 million views on YouTube. In 2015, she released, "Mis Mis", a cover version of the song Dans Mon Quartier in Turkish with production of Ozan Bayrasa and it became a hit. The clip reached over 147 million views on YouTube. On January 29, 2016, she released her second single "Yanki". The lyrics and music of the song was prepared by Sezen Aksu, Deniz Erten, Ersay Üner and Simge. The song reached up to number 2 in the Official Lists. Yanki has 77 million views on YouTube. On July 22, 2016, she released, Kamera, a cover version of the Bollywood song Badtameez Dil. It has 23 million views on YouTube. On January 11, 2017, she released, Prens & Prenses.
