Zephani Idoko was born to Nigerian parents John and Deborah Idoko, on March 17 1994. She trained under Diane Baker at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where she earned a BFA in Acting for Stage and Film and began her professional career. Shortly after her graduation and subsequent move to New York, she was cast in the starring role of Abena in Horror feature, The Unsettling. Which follows a West African couple's vacation to LA and the problems that have followed them, which seem to be amplified by the house they've rented. The film screened at international festivals in Australia, the UK and New York in late 2021 and is pending a general release. Zephani's other work includes her role in the critically acclaimed horror film Nanny. Which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January 2022 and won the festivals top award, The grand Jury Prize. She also plays Stephanie on Starz series, Power Book II: Ghost. Zephani resides in New York City. Working and splitting her time between there and LA when necessary.
