I started shooting films in 1994 at age 8 after my father Jesus M. Encarnacion. Purchased a Rca VHS Camera, I was hooked since then, and never let cameras go. I began shooting at my mother's church events, so well; that she made him. Her permanent director instead of hiring an Adult. Once Richard reached 15, his interest in shooting short films and documentaries increased, and he spent every minute of time at the library reading over 1,000 books on filmmaking and screenwriting. This was before youtube or film school. By the time Richard reached age 16, I had shot over 100 short films, most were lost due to technology since youtube wasn't around. In 2003, Richard began writing "Five Easy", after reading the story of Robert Rodriguez, he was so inspired by that and the director Kevin Smith of "Clerks" from New Jersey, since Richard grew up in Paterson, New Jersey 25 minutes from there. In 2004, I wrote the script "Five Easy" and met up with Nicholas Testa, who at the time. Was a famous indie actor, who had worked with Ridley Scott, Barry Levingston, and Star Trek Series. And after much discussion, and 25 rejections by Nick. Richard rewrote the script 25-30 times until Nick finally agreed to help Richard Make "Five Easy" in 2004. The rest is history, I got to beat the Film record made by Robert Rodriguez of making a film at 23, I was just 19 years old.
