Pari Roehi

Born in Iran, Pari Roehi arrived in the Netherlands as a refugee aged just four. From those earliest memories she knew she was female, despite the body she was born with. She embraced this through difficult times at school, starting a modeling career at 16 while transitioning from male to female. In late 2012 Roehi moved to Berlin, Germany and by 2015 she became the first Transgender contestant on Germany's Next Topmodel by Heidi Klum, Ever since she has used her visibility to discuss trans issues and by 2016 published an autobiography, Mein Bunter Schatten - Lebensweg einer Transgender Frau (My Colorful Shadow - The Path Of A Transgender Woman), making her a powerful voice for a generation that still faces prejudice. Refinery29 named her one of Germany's most inspiring women. Roehi has been featured in international magazines such as Vogue Germany, Elle, Cosmopolitan, I-D.Vice, Candy, Grazia, Vanity Fair Italia, Marie Claire Italia, Instyle, just to name a few. Her clientele ranges from Netflix, Tinder, TLC, Karen Millen, Levis. In may 2020 she became one of the new faces of Pantene Pro-V.
