Simon Maignan

Simon Maignan is a french writer/director/camera operator living in New York. He was born in 1992 in Caen (France). After high school he decides to move in Rennes (France) to study cinema at the Esra Bretagne. He shot his first 16mm short film, "L'ouverture", in 2012. After "Eliott Nagual" (14 international film festival selections) he decides to spend his last year of study in New York where he shot his new film "The Sky Queen" about a young female drone pilot (40 international selections). Simon is also working as a professional camera assistant (short film, commercial, music video and feature film) as preparing his next 16mm period short film, "Terreur Contre Terreur".
