Dawn Peters was born on December 17,1992 in Takoma Park, MD to an African-American mother and Trinidadian father. She attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL and graduated in 2014. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA attending New York Film Academy. She is developing her cinematography and director's credits with short films. Dawn most recently did boom operation and sound mixing for an award winning, experimental short entitled Piece of a Quiet Dream (Short 2015).
