Shaun Thurman

Shaun Thurman is a Los Angeles based actor and technical consultant. A veteran Detective Sergeant with Oakland P.D. Homicide, he trained and performed in small theater productions on the side before retiring from police work to focus on acting and continued theatrical training. Two decades of real-life police experience to draw upon allow him to bring exceptional realism to his work. He is a police historian and authority on early to mid 20th-century police procedures and tactics. He works with the Los Angeles Police Department's Historical Society & Museum as an archivist and researcher and is a founding member of the consulting & education group, the Vintage L.A. Coppers.
