Amber Lee Techel was born on May 3rd, 1995 in the small town of Gaylord, Michigan to Darlene Techel who was assisted by her parents: Barbara Techel and Fredrick Techel with raising Amber. Starting off at the early age of 3, her grandfather, who she called Papa, took her to one of his weekly accordion lessons at the local Musik Haus where Amber sang to a few polka's as he played. People started to crowd the door to see who was singing which got the owners to start her in taking singing lessons. Amber's first performance was at the age of 3 at a retirement home party. Seeing how fast Amber learned they added instruments for her to learn every 2-3 years which include piano, accordion, guitar, flute, piccolo, harmonica, Irish whistle, and select percussion instruments. From there she traveled around the state of Michigan as the lead vocalist of the Musik Haus band: the Polka Pals, getting her first record deal at the age of 7. In addition to music lessons at age of 3, her family also started her in training for dance, acting, composing, writing, and art with local artist and family members winning numerous talent awards in her community for her music, acting, and art skills at competitions. Her Papa started teaching her the basics of filming and she started in theater to learn more of acting as he recorded on a 1998 VHS Film camera as soon as she could talk. Getting solos and characters in school plays, they had Amber brand out into the community theater productions: GCP, where she started as the lead children's choir character & ensemble in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2008). She continued to be a theater bug booking the Wizard of Oz, The King and I, and White Christmas throughout her high school and college years. In her college years (2014), Amber started to travel the state to be in films, commercials, & got into modeling. Her modeling took at at an incredible rate working with numerous photographers and winning gallery awards as well as being published in numerous magazines such as Studio Niko Inspiring Love magazine (2017) where she was awarded top photo award as well as 2 magazine spreads with Modern Model Magazine (2017 & 2018) to name a few. Amber also started to be a brand ambassador for companies such as Dropp Topp, and has been a brand ambassador for Carhartt, & Vital Proteins. 2015 She took film training at the studios @ Michigan & 2016 she took training with Amy Lyndon for booking techniques. Amber's first indie film was Rock n Roll parking lot in 2017 where she played a fan with her now husband as of (2019): Rodger Bommarito who is a programmer/game designer. From there, she was in numerous small independent films & started booking more commercials such as Welcome to the Neighborhood for a credit union (2018), & Michigan State University's NIH Healthcare Commercial/project (2019). Booked the lead victim: Riley and directors assistant in Michigan Crime S.V.(2018 & 2019) as well as her recurring roll as the Index Goddess in Papers Film series(2018-current.) Amber booked a roll in Horse camp 3 (2019) where she played a junior counselor and was a production assistant. & She booked character Essence in Dark Noel that is (2020.) Amber continues to book rolls in films, commercials, shows, modeling gigs, music, dance, as well as helps out behind the scenes with more films underway.
