Known for his guerrilla style storytelling, acclaimed writer-director Adam Gonzalez was born in Bronx, New York. Over the course of his filmmaking career, Adam has created some of the most unique short films that have garnered world wide recognition. Adam's directorial debut was for his movie "ROMA: The Silent Film" (2015) starring Flaco Navaja and Babyann Hernandez. Adam wrote the concept when he was in college and finished writing the script 10 years later with his Gilded Harbor LLC partner Damian Bastar. Premiering the film at the International Puerto Rican Film Festical in New York City, the short film won People's Choice Award. Adam's second short film was a romantic comedy titled "Them There Eyes" (2016), starring David "Dstroy" Melendez (former member of the hip-hop group the Arsonists) and Sarah Serrano. The film centers around two strangers who are trapped in an elevator and pass time swapping embarrassing dating stories. The film was written and produced by Adam Gonzalez, Damian Bastar and David "Destroy" Melendez. The film was nominated "Best Comedy" in the 2017 Official Latino Short Film Festival in New York City. Adam's third short was a horror film titled "INVEIGH" (2017) starring Wilma Rivera, Liza Gelletti, Valeria Avina and Journey Bastar. For the screening premiere at Pelham Picture House Movie Theater, all ticket sales were donated to the UNICEF Emergency Relief Fund in which $2,250 was raised to help the citizens of Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. The film won "Best Trailer" and "Best Movie Poster" at the 2017 Barcelona Planet Film Festival in Barcelona Spain.
