Alison Niven

Alison grew up in Oakville, Ontario to Janice and David Niven. Her mother is an elementary school teacher and her father, a camera man. She first appeared on the popular children's television series "Goosebumps" when she was six years old. She began taking drama classes as The Oakville centre for Performing Arts, appearing in several plays such as Cinderella and Aladdin. She appeared in Goosebumps once again in 1998. It wasn't until Highschool, that she got back into drama portraying Cindy Lou Who in The Grinch, and the mean girl in an student original production. She began landing small parts in various short films and commercials. She performed the role of Jackie, in the original production "Heartstrings: The Musical" at The Hamilton Fringe Festival. In October of that year, she was an understudy for four different roles for an original production in Toronto. Learning four different roles was quite daunting yet exciting!
