Winter Mason Van Halteren grew up in the east coast, born in the latent years of the eighties, influenced by the spectacular city of Toronto and it's performance arts. She looked up the the talent of people like Jane Fonda and Jodie Foster; women who wish to produce art for the rest of there lives. She enjoyed the memories of the talent of people like Jean Harlow and the Marilyn Monroe. She was adopted when she was eight years old, putting a halt to her ballet and acting training. Her new family enrolled her in private school, piano, alto saxophone, and vocal classes. She agreed to get her BSc in Psychology, however after 3 years at Trent University she put her last year on pause, hopped on a plane with nothing but a suitcase and a puppy, and flew to Vancouver to pursue an acting career. After auditioning and being accepted into a major training institution, schoolCREATIVE, she completed their Film, TV, & Voice Over intensive, and continued on to train in comedy and improv. She has performed at Second City in Hollywood, California. Winter Mason has appeared in Mission Impossible: IV, The Interview, First, & was Lacey Chabert's stand-in for the film Scarecrow. She dances at Scotiabank Dance Centre, and the west coast is now home.
