Esther de Rio

Esther de Rio is a Japanese award winning actress and martial artist. In her first week of being in LA Rio was approached by a theatrical agent scout. They wanted to sign her straight away. Rio started her acting career in Japan's most prestigious Theatre Company 'Haiyu-za' where she first fell in love with the craft which then led to her appearing in popular Japanese television shows 'Bride of Blindness' (Nerawareta moumoku No sho-jo) & 'Police Tokyo' (Deka No sho-mei) both on TV Tokyo. In 2013 Rio was featured in Playboy Magazine as "the beautiful up & coming actress to be on the look out for". She was born and raised in Tokyo where she developed a love for films, books and learning about human nature and studies martial arts when she is not working to keep her mind and body strong. She appreciates the smaller things in life and is devoted to bringing the beautiful Japanese culture to America.
