Hiten D. Patel

Hiten D. Patel (Twitter @HitenDPatel) was born in New Jersey and grew up in North Bergen, NJ and DuQuoin, IL. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He trained in urologic surgery at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is an active researcher in kidney and prostate cancer, health outcomes research, and clinical trials. He enjoys musical productions, dance, film, and TV with amateur school experiences during high school and college. When he is able to get out of the hospital, he has made brief appearances on Tiny House Hunting (2014) and as an extra on House of Cards (2013). He was interviewed about the 2016 US Presidential election on TV4 Sweden.
