Katherine Wuscher

Katherine Wuscher was born (as Kathrin Wüscher) on January 15, 1985 in Schaffhausen (Switzerland). She is the daughter of painter Bernhard Wüscher and Simone Wüscher-Ineichen, a physiotherapist. Raised in an artists family she has had an interest in acting very early on and made her acting debut in a local theater group at the tender age of 7. She had her first stage appearance (albeit as an extra) in 1999. Even though her passion for acting never subsided it would me years before she would pursue it again. After having studied law at University of Basel, she'd enroll at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York. Upon her return to Switzerland she played in amateur stage productions before she started her own project, a short film she wrote, produced and stars in. Her film "Stand clear of the closing doors", which co-stars J. David Hinze, is scheduled to be released in 2016.
