Kayla Katherine

Kayla Katherine Dumont is a singer/songwriter from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Kayla graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Commerce before moving to Toronto, Ontario in 2016 to pursue her career in acting. In her final year of university with no agent or industry experience Kayla was asked to audition for the TV Series, Slasher cast by one of Toronto's top Casting Directors, Stephanie Gorin. In the following six months she was again asked to audition for two additional productions. Kayla booked all three roles which then made her a full union actor with nothing on her resume but blind faith. Upon graduation Kayla chose to take a risk and move to Toronto to see where the world of acting would take her. Kayla is now a singer/songwriter bringing to life her debut album. Kayla studied with David Rotenberg (Pro Actors Lab), Robert Kennedy (Armstrong Acting), Lewis Baumander, Daniel Baumander and Steven Yaffee at LB Acting Studio from 2016 - 2020.
