Born in the north side of Chicago in 1969. He studied Architecture while attending Lane Tech High School and after his graduation in 1987, attended the University of Illinois in Chicago to continue perusing his Architectural degree. After realizing he was more interested in owning and running a business, he switched his major to Business Management. While he attended Lane Tech, a family friend who was an electrician working on the set for 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' told Klein they were looking for 'high school aged extras' to be in the movie. Klein went to a casting call and was selected as one of the many 'extras' in the movie. While doing odd jobs in his last year of high school and his first year of college, he worked at Motorola for 10 year before leaving to start one of his two fitness businesses which he grew into industry leading companies. He moved to Northbrook Illinois in 1996 and there his two children lived and attended school - most notably Glenbrook North High School. Edward moved to Scottsdale Arizona in 2010 where he gave up the business ownership role and started his career in Business Development as a Business Analyst. In 2007, he started doing volunteer work by restoring and refurbishing signs and buildings on Route 66 where he is a well known 'roadie'. With this, Edward has spoken at conferences and events about Route 66 and has appeared on several news programs talking about events or his restoration work. Edward also advises small businesses and towns on Route 66 on how to increase tourism dollars. In 2014, he purchased the historic Front Street Garage in Galena Kansas on Route 66 to restore and eventually open as a Ford Model A museum and a 40's diner serving travelers on Route 66.
