Adam Christian Bass traces his American roots back to the early Jamestown settlement in Virginia in the early 1600s. His father served in the US Navy, seeing service during Viet Nam, later stationed in Honolulu where Adam was born. His mother was a Tax Attorney. Adam has strong Oklahoma ties where he is a 5th generation Oklahoman. Adam spent several years inspiring young minds teaching high school history and coaching multiple sports with several successful teams. He's always been interested in film, both behind and in front of the camera. He made the decision to turn dreams into reality and in 2011 began laying the groundwork for a successful film career. He spoke to industry professionals about the smartest approach and soon he was taking film classes - how to write scripts, directing, acting and volunteering to work on film sets as crew. He worked on several projects and began developing an impressive network in Oklahoma film. He took a job at Choctaw High school working alongside the most decorated Drama teacher in the State. His efforts soon began to pay off with being asked to do location scouting, acting and producing opportunities. His maturity, experience in working with a multitude of different kinds of people gives him unique insight into successfully teaming with diverse casts and crews. Adam is very pragmatic and knew waiting for Hollywood to call is a fool's game so he took life by the horns and wrote, obtained funding, directed and produced his own full feature film "Reel Dead" - a clever, humorous tribute to 70s slasher movies. Reel Dead, an entertaining film in its own rights, also gave him outstanding experience in all aspects of film making from creating a script, casting actors, obtaining talented crew, location scouting, getting permits, finding investors, directing and editing.
