Lakota Johnson

Lakota Johnson is an actor, model and digital influencer whose profile is rapidly on the rise. Born in 2001 on the Gold Coast, Australia, Lakota's father is from the film industry in the US and his mother is Australian. At high school Lakota was a keen sportsman and at 15 years of age competed in state basketball. During this time he also had a passion for the arts and signed with CHIC Management at 16 years of age. With film in his family history, it is no surprise Lakota for the past several years has been training intensely with The Warehouse Studio in Australia, under casting director Tom McSweeney and most recently with producer and director James Michael Marshall in the US. Lakota has landed minor roles in feature films including Dora and The Lost City of Gold, King Kong V Godzilla and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. In 2020 Lakota also appears as a guest role in the Netflix series #blackAF, created by Kenya Barris. Lakota's winning smile and striking looks soon secured him modelling campaigns with several youth-targeted edgy fashion brands including Universal Store, City Beach, Jay Jays, Footlocker, Nike and Surf Stitch. Alongside his acting and modelling career Lakota has developed a strong global following on Instagram and TikTok. He was one of the first to join TikTok when it launched. Shortly after joining Lakota had reached 7 million likes and gained half a million followers. He is now known in the Tik Tok space "The Boy With The Smile" and started trends on the platform like "zoom in". Lakota now has over 1.8 million followers on TikTok and over 200 thousand on Instagram. Lakota holds dual citizenship for the US and Australia.
