Emmanuel Kulu Jr. is an African Historian and the Creator/Author of "I Black Pharaoh Universe". Kulu spent several years researching Ancient Africa, and spreading the awareness of the miseducation of African history. Kulu, is of Cameroonian decent through his father Emmanuel Kulu Sr. As a career Community Activist/Social Worker, he also had deep passion for music production, writing, history, and the creative arts. Kulu was the Founder/CEO of the Upstate hip-hop label "Tephlon Ent." formed in 2005, and ended 2011. Kulu tapped into film writing and acting with films like, "The Rize & Fall of Tephlon Ent.", "Bug Love", and "The First Purge". In 2013, Kulu turned his focus to embracing his African lineage. Upon deep study and research of great African kingdoms, Kulu set his heart on Ancient Egypt (Kemet) as his first project as an author. Kulu questioned the validity of prior novel and film depictions of the imagery of the Ancient Egyptians, who were in fact, African people. Based on his research, Kulu created a mythological story based off true events, "I Black Pharaoh: Rise to Power" releases 02/20/20 under Pen it Publications. Notable Mention: "The Rize and Fall of Tephlon Ent" won "Best Documentary" in 2016 CIFF (Creation International Film Festival).
