Sandy Buchan

Sandy was born in Norwich Ontario Canada, first Canadian child of Peggy and Martin Buchan, having two older brothers Marty and Gerry being born when the family lived in Fraserburgh Scotland. Sandy lived the first 18 years in Southern Ontario, moving to Cambridge Nova Scotia Canada in 1973. Employed for those 42 years in the School Bus Selling business, with jobs ranging from selling buses and parts to ambulances, traveling and visiting customers through out the Atlantic Canadian Provinces. Upon semi retirement, chose to follow a dream that was put on hold all those years, to act professionally in TV and Film, and has completed background acting assignments for three different projects filmed in Halifax, NS. Sandy is married to Cindy E. Buchan(Chamberlain) from Lunenburg, NS and has three adult Children, Christian(Chrissy), son Ian and son James, with one grandchild expected in March 2016. Sandy is 25 year member of the Masonic order, serving as the present District Grand Director of Ceremonies for Kings District, Past Grand Chaplin for Nova Scotia and is a Shriner with the Philae Shriners of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, acts as their Magazine Editor and is a member of the Ceremonial Divan Unit, and is a 12 year member of the Philae Shriner Clown Unit. Now acting as Barney Westwoods, father of TV son Jack Westwoods, Mayor of Bigfoot Town in new TV comedy series, Bigfoot Town being filmed in Berwick, NS Canada
