Nele Mertens

Nele Mertens is an assistant editor on films like Yesterday and Kingsman: The Great Game. She also edits short films, several of which have won awards. Nele has directed a feature film, several short films and a documentary in Guatemala. She has a lot of editing experience as well and is an advanced Avid Media Composer editor. Nele also writes screenplays; she has written three full-length feature scripts and is working on a fourth one. She has also worked as a script editor and a first assistant director and was a volunteer at the London screenings. Nele started her career at Evolutions as a post production runner, got promoted to Data Assistant after four months and moved up to be an Edit and Media Support Operator two months later. She also briefly worked as an Edit Assistant at Molinare.
