I grew up in a small town outside of Toronto, Ontario, falling in love with three things that drive me the most today: nature, technology and people. From endless days running around outside, building forts and manipulating the natural world, I was in awe of both the constructive and destructive power of my hands and understood the responsibility therein. My career in my mid-20s used some of these facets, like technology and people in advertising. After working in pharmaceuticals, I began to come back to my environmental and emotionally-connected roots in Kelowna, British Columbia. I travelled to India, became a yogi and started contracting as a freelancer with James Alton Visuals. Now close to my mid-30s, I am focusing entirely on film & storytelling. I have content represented by Getty Images and I find it an honour to be able to sell how I capture the world. I finished a two-year term President of the Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking, bringing the organization into the 6000 sq. ft. facility called the Creative Hub, conceptualized by the City of Kelowna. As well as a collection of my videos are featured on Getty Images. My ultimate goal is to record, document and tell the stories of those us have stories to tell but are not able to due to financial, political and personal constraints. I want to help those who are not able to. I have gone deeper into my spirituality, exploring naturalism, watercolour painting, meditation and learning to play the piano. I've been told I often sound like Brené Brown when I speak about vulnerability and sharing or Marie Kondo when I speak about cleaning, organization and personal spirituality.
