What do Schmigadoon, Nick Jonas and Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical have in common? Bianca Melchior! A true triple threat, Bianca was born to create and perform. Her first love was dance in which she is extensively trained in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, ballet, hip hop, acrobatics, and partnering. Despite taking her first steps into the studio at the later age of twelve, Bianca very quickly excelled in the art form, amassing countless awards in her competitive career, which culminated with her becoming the first dancer to win the title of Senior Female Best Dancer at The Dance Awards in New York City. Select professional dance credits include "Disney's Zombies," Nick Jonas, Lights and Conteur Dance Company of which she was the principal performer in the company's production of "re(ACT)." Naturally, Bianca found herself on the mark in an acting class, where she fell further in love with the art of storytelling. She attended and landed her first audition, a role on Aaron Martin's Canadian horror anthology series "Slasher" (Netflix), and was hooked! From Cinco Paul's musical parody "Schmigadoon" (Apple TV) choreographed by Emmy award winning creator Christopher Gattelli, to Andrew Thomas Hunt's raw indie feature "The Fight Machine" opposite Greg Hovanessian, to Heather Taylor's supernatural comedy short "Bring Out Your Dead," opposite Workin' Moms star Juno Rinaldi, Bianca's artistic passion and range has no bounds. Growing up listening to her parents sing, play and write music together, it is no surprise that Bianca shares her vocal talents in multiple mediums, from singing with Canadian pop star Alessia Cara, to kickin' it in "Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical" with direction by Madeline Paul and Grinder Chadha, to releasing music on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube. When Bianca is not working, you'll likely find her practicing yoga, reading a book or cooking.
