Peter Solis Nery

Peter Solis Nery is a multi-awarded poet, dramatist, author, writer and filmmaker from the Philippines. He is a Carlos Palanca Awards Hall of Fame awardee (2012), recipient of the Cultural Center of the Philippines Literature Grant for Hiligaynon Poetry (1992), winner of the National Commission on Culture and the Arts literary contest (1995), Philippine Centennial Literary Prize winner for Screenplay (1998), Jury Prize winner of the Cinemanila International Film Festival screenplay competition (2001), finalist of the 1st National Film Competition of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (2012), member of the Dramatists Guild of America (since 2010), and the first Filipino author to be invited to the Sharjah International Book Fair (2015).
