Born in the Pacific Northwest, Lindsay Sparks got her start performing improv comedy at the age of 13. By her 18th birthday she became the youngest professional performer in the history of ComedySportz(TM). After relocating to Colorado she earned a BFA in film production then went on to study with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles and New York. Sparks took a break from film to work in technology where she was part owner of an app development company until a traumatic brain injury gave way to a renewed commitment to the entertainment industry. She pivoted toward performing and production, founding Sparkles Entertainment to foster equity and provide growth opportunities to women in film. The first feature from Sparkles is in development; a female forward tale which Sparks wrote during, and was inspired by, her long road to recovery. Despite her trials, Sparks' quirky spirit brings a brightness to even the darkest of her roles. Her work often possesses a musicality, accented by her unexpected perspective. Sparks splits her time between both coasts and the Rocky Mountains.
