Daiki Ito

Born on 27 December 1985 in Shimokawa, Hokkaido, Japan, Ito is a professional ski jumper. He has been competing in more than 234 races since 2002. Ito has achieved 4 individual victories and a personal best jump of 240 m (787 ft) on 26 February 2012 in Vikersund, Norway. He won 3 medals from FIS Nordic World Ski Championships - one gold in the mixed normal hill event in 2013, and 2 bronze in the team large hill event in 2007 and 2009. Ito participated in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver where he finished 5th in the team large hill event. During the 2014 Sochi Olympics Ito won a bronze medal in the team large hill event.
