Born Wayne John Davies and raised in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, Wayne Davies attended St Johns C.E school where he was encouraged by his teachers to nurture his love for storytelling and creative artwork. Inspired by the films and TV shows of the 80's that he grew up with, Wayne finished school and moved straight to college where he pursued a career in graphic design, but soon discovered his passion also lied elsewhere in the world of film. Dropping out of the A level course, Wayne spent the summer writing film ideas, adapting them into scripts and performing monologues alone in his bedroom. It was at this time that Wayne knew he wanted a taste of the movie industry, and soon enrolled into performing arts where he practiced drama for 3yrs. Successfully completing the course, Wayne then moved into further education and attended an HND Film-Making (Performance & Production) course for a following 2yrs. During those 2yrs, Wayne's acting abilities were praised by his tutors, helping him to build his confidence as an actor in front of the camera, and finding his naturalistic acting qualities made him stand out from others. Since finishing education, Wayne has worked around the independent film network, acting in several short drama films in and around the Birmingham area. Now he has matured as an actor, and following a lot of personal experience, Wayne is now ready for new, exciting roles that will challenging his acting ability and further his career.
