Courtney Shaffer (Allsup) is an American actress born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was born to parents Ray and Debbie Allsup and is of both English and Italian descent. She has one younger sister and two older half brothers. With a childhood dream of becoming a ballerina, Courtney took seven years of dance. She was 14 when she finally realized that she wasn't a dancer and decided to hang up her pointe shoes for good. But she still had the desire to perform and during high school had very often thought about going out for her school's plays. She let her audition nerves get the better of her, afraid that she would fail again. Years later, in March of 2015, in what would seem like a twist of fate, she finally got a taste of life on set. The Last Smile (2016) was filming in her hometown and a friend told her of the film's need for additional background. Since it did sound fun and she was available, she decided to go. While there, she was upgraded by the production team to a featured extra and a promise of her very first IMDb credit. Since that time, Courtney has been acting as much as possible. She has been finding work all over the Bay. Her extensive Northern California resume includes: feature length films, industrial educational videos, short films, student films, an episode on ID's television series Wives With Knives (2012), web commercials, and a weekly guest star appearance on the YouTube web-series Pull My Focus. She has also had her success on the stage in plays and musicals, in which she was nominated for three local awards, including Best Leading Actress in a Play as Corie Bratter in Barefoot in the Park in 2016. In October of 2018, Courtney relocated to West Hollywood to further pursue her acting career.
