Olga Nazarova was born on 27 August 1977 in Omsk, Russia. She is a retired professional biathlete, who competed for Belarus. Her first year in the sport was 1994 and she made her World Cup debut in 1999. The first appearance in World Championships was in 2001 in Pokljuka. Nazarova placed 23rd in the Individual, 36th in the sprint, 13th in the pursuit and relay and 14th in the mass start. The following year she achieved much including first podium - 3rd place in the mass start in Holmenkollen. Also 4th position in the Individual and 8th in the pursuit in Antholz-Anterselva. At the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, which were her first in her career, Nazarova finished 6th in the Individual, 14th in the sprint, 11th in the pursuit and 7th in the relay. The 2001-2002 season concluded for her at number 21st in the overall. At the 2003 World Championships held in Khanty-Mansyisk she achieved the best result with the relay - 4th place. In the other disciplines managed to finish 22nd in the Individual, 13th in the sprint, 18th in the pursuit and 25th in the mass start. Nazarova had almost the same results at the 2004 World Championships in Oberhof. Again she was 4th in the relay, 11th in the Individual, 22nd in the sprint, 13th in the pursuit and 23rd in the mass start. Her most successful season was the 2005-2006. At the 2005 World Championships in Hochfilzen, Olga Nazarova won a bronze medal in the relay event. In the other disciplines placed 23rd in the Individual, 12th in the sprint, 22nd in the pursuit and 25th in the mass start. Nazarova also made her second career podium, a 3rd place in the mass start in Holmenkollen. But the best results were at the 2006 Olympics in Turin. She finished twice 7th in the Individual and the pursuit, 8th in the sprint, 6th in the mass start and 4th in the relay. At the end of the season Nazarova ended up at number 13th in the overall. After the Olympic season, she continued her participation on the World Cup tour and the World Championships. But in the once in 2005 in Khanty-Mansyisk and the 2006 in Pokjluka, Nazarova took part only in the relay. Placed 11th and 14th respectively. During the 2009 World Championships in Pyeongchang, she achieved her best personal result since the Olympics in 2006, a 9th position in the sprint. The Vancouver Olympics in 2010 were her last. Nazarova appeared only in one event - the 10 km sprint and finished at the disastrous 74th position. After the Games at her very last World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk, she took part in the 15 km Individual and ended up at 58th place. At the end of 2010-2011 when Nazarova was 92nd in the overall, she announced her retirement. Olga Nazarova's occupation is a lawyer. She is married and has two children.
