Jackie Muratti is a Bosnian-American theater and film actress. She was born Ilvana Muratovic in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. When she was a child, her family moved to Croatia then to the U.S. during the war in the Balkans. While growing up in the U.S., she performed in a number of school plays. Despite receiving her Master's degree in Education, Jackie spent most of her time focused on the performing arts, training at the Seattle Acting School and Freehold Theater, while performing in local theaters, commercials and films. She has trained and worked in Los Angeles and Seattle, where she currently resides. Jackie was the 2017 recipient of a 4Culture grant that sponsored her first feature-length film, Love Pain Sevdah, which is set to release in 2019. She is a member of Theater 9/12 and is on the Board of the Bosnian-Herzegovinan Cultural Artistic Association in Seattle.
