Growing up in the melting pot that is Los Angeles, I indulged in a gamut of museums, plays, films, music, galleries, and festivals which exposed me to cultures and philosophies which can only materialize in a town where you have the freedom and acceptance to be anybody. This freedom mixed with the juxtaposition of the glamour of celebrity on top of a decaying infrastructure has given me an approach look at usual things with unusual eyes, have an intuition for people's changing attitudes, and have the ability to assess realistically the opportunities and limits of art. After graduating with a degree in the science of film, I spent several years working on set for prominent productions. Over time, I became more fascinated with the the set itself and began working specifically in art department positions. I rose from art pa to production designer, while working every art position in between. I have been apart of AFI productions for two years now I'm consistently an outside Production Designer for AFI starting last year with a record of seven productions in seven months. During that time I grew both personally and professionally with each production going smoother than the last one.
