Alexander Karagiozov

Alexander specializes orchestral and choral conducting at the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2013. Aged 21, becomes assistant conductor for Yordan Kamdzhalov and his concerts around Europe. A year later becomes orchestra manager of the international GENESIS ORCHESTRA and music director and artistic consultant of the innovative vocal ensemble of Music Laboratory for the Human Self. He has performed on stages around Europe with artists such as Lisa Gerrard, Ennio Morricone, Eric Whitacre, Yordan Kamdzhalov and others, in halls such as The Golden Hall of Vienna, Muzikferein, Arena Armeec, Hall 1 in NDK, Bulgaria Hall, Sofia and The Ancient Theatre Plovdiv. Attends masterclasses from industry leading names such as Hans Zimmer, Lisa Gerrard, Eric Whitacre, Danny Elfman, Jacob Collier, Yordan Kamdzhalov, Mark Shapiro and others and had the chance to work with them on several occasions as well. In 2018 he writes the music for the conceptual exhibition "STRAZHA", under the high patronage of the President of Republic Bulgaria - gen. Rumen Radev. In 2021 attends the 5-Week American Academy of Dramatic Arts summer acting program. A few months later also attends The Juilliard's School, NY summer intensive programs in conducting and composition. From august 2021 he is a full-time student of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
