Alessandro Fricano Gagliardo

Alessandro is an Italian actor from a small Sicilian town called Bagheria (the same as ''Baarìa'' the movie by Academy winner Giuseppe Tornatore ). After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Palermo in 2007, he moved to London (UK) where he started taking acting classes at City Lit. and attended intensive Method Acting with qualified teacher Sam Rumbelow. Determined to achieve a formal full time training, he then moved to Valencia (Spain) where he attended the official ''Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico'' and graduated in 2013 with a BA in Acting, spending his last academic year as exchange student at Rose Bruford College (Sidcup, UK). Back to Sicily, he played lead role in the feature film ''Libera Me'' (2015), a psycho-drama with thriller nuances about domestic violence, awarded at Los Angeles Cine Fest and selected in numerous film festivals around the world. Recently (July 2016) he played main role in a short film called ''Jack Nunn'', and has been working on a web series ''In-coscienza aliena'' (Usa/Italy), playing one of the lead characters, both filmed in New York.
