Stephanie Brister

Stephanie J Brister, known in her first career as the Queen of Hearts, retired as a successful heart surgeon in Toronto in January of 2015. She is a well published researcher in her own right and has been an advocate for women's health as well as a progressive leader in establishing health policies both locally and nationally. Stephanie has been the subject of a 3 part CHCH documentary series, Two of Hearts- A Women's Story and been featured in a number of CHCH "Medical Moment ' Vignettes. Now Stephanie has stepped outside the disciplined boundaries of the medical profession and is pursuing an acting career in film and television. To this end she has studied with Ron Leach (Audition Dynamics, Leach and Levy, Toronto) , Marvin Hinz . (, The Professional Actor's Lab , Toronto) and Joy Juckes (Dialect Coaching,Toronto ) Stephanie and Michael Buchanan formed their own production company " Busy Bees Productions" in August of 2015.
