Jarryd Dobson

Jarryd grew up in Rockingham, a coastal city in Western Australia. In 2018 he graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, completing three years conservator acting (Bachelor of Arts) training. At the 2018 WA Screen Academy Awards, Jarryd was voted winner of the Channel Nine Best Actor (Male) Award for his role as Russian cosmonaut Dmitry, in Spiral (2018). In 2019 he won the Best Actor Award at the 2019 NextGen Short Film Festival for the same role. He looks forward to earning his place and purposefully contributing to Australian and International television and film industries.
