Jose Antonio Partida is a Mexican director and cinematographer, who grew up in Mexico City, Mexico. Since childhood, he yearned to become a movie director and would start to create his home productions with the help of his brothers, cousins, and friends. His first camera was a small Handycam DCR. It wasn't given to him but borrowed (without permission) from his parents. During his teen years, he would dedicate his free time to make stop-motion videos or action shorts, as well as watch all kinds of movies. After graduating from high school, Jose Antonio left Mexico and moved to New Mexico, USA. Where he attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) under the Robert Redford Milagro Scholarship to reach a Bachelors in Fine Arts for Film Production. Unfortunately, the SFUAD has been a victim of Laureate's corruption and bad administration sinking the institution into debt and forcing it to close by the end of May 2018. Jose Antonio had the luck to be into his senior year when the closing of the school was announced, making it possible for him to graduate this upcoming May. Today, Jose Antonio has dedicated his time to work on his professional portfolio and start his own production company under the name of © 2018, Pink Bonsai LLC.
