Born and raised in a small town in Kentucky, Kay Vermeil has a passion for the intimate stories found in everyday life. She pursues this passion in editing for narrative and documentary films. She is a senior at USC's School of Cinematic Arts as a student of film and television production. Vermeil began her journey to discovering her passion for documentaries as an intern at PCH Films, where she assisted in the post-production process for the Oscar-nominated and Grammy Award-winning documentary about musician Glen Campbell, I'll Be Me. From there, Vermeil took her experience to work for Donna Kanter as a production assistant on her documentary, The Presence of their Absence. Currently, she is a digital marketing and media intern for Capitol Records, where she films and edits digital content for Capitol Artists, such as Paul McCartney, Migos, Beck, and more.
