Paige Joustra is an Australian actress, born and raised in Melbourne, and is the eldest of two children. Her father is an Australian of Dutch ancestry and her mother is German. Since the age of 4, Paige has wanted to become an actor and says this was largely due to her love of Robin Williams' films. At age 15, she got a casual job to pay for acting classes at St. Martins Youth Theatre where she trained for a couple of years while attending high school. Before graduating, Paige was heavily involved in her school's theatre programs and found herself landing lead roles in her school's plays, helping run the theatre sports club, and in her final year she became one of the drama captains. Once leaving school, Paige studied Media and Communications at university for a semester before dropping out to pursue acting properly. At this time, she began auditioning for screen roles. She's been cast in several short films in Australia, most notably in the role of Mina in 2017 for the short film 'Feast On The Young' which went on to screen in festivals in the US and UK. It also won Best Victorian Short Film at MonsterFest in 2018. In 2019, Paige was cast as Charlie in her debut feature film 'The Library Boys'. She signed with her current agent in 2020.
