Perissa York

Perissa York was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the youngest daughter of 3, raised by a single-mother. She fell in love with acting and drama when she took drama at Crossroads Elementary School. She self enrolled herself into a performing arts high school to start training and begin her career. She was always active growing up, cheer-leading from 2nd through the 8th grade and started playing violin in the 4th grade. She studied dance while attending Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and also voice as a Post-Secondary Enrollment Option at McNally Smith College of Music from her Sophomore through her Senior year of high school. She started as a freshman at the University of Minnesota with a double major for dance and business. She decided to move to Florida to attend the University of Tampa for better opportunities in film and TV. She graduated in 2018 with a B.S in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Dance. Perissa York is now embarking on a new journey in Atlanta, GA.
