Sara da Conceição Eustáquio was born in Torres Vedras, Portugal. In high school, she focused her studies on the arts, which led her to direct her short film 4242 (2016) at 16 years old. Following a need to know more about cinema, in 2016 she attended a summer intensive filmmaking program at New York Film Academy, in New York City. As her love for filmmaking grew, she started her Film and Video bachelor's degree at California Institute of the Arts, in Los Angeles.
