Malik Kalonji

Malik Kalonji is a gifted and inventive person. He was born in Hempstead Long Island, New York. The son of William and Carleen Abrams, he grew up loving nature, animals, the martial arts, and comic books. Malik attributes these loves as things that kept him out of trouble while growing up. A man of many titles Malik is a CMT, Reiki Master, yoga teacher and holds a black belt in martial arts. He has appeared on National T.V. with his best friend Shirley Pearlman aka Granny Rapp. The dynamic duo together made national attention performing at reputable places such as The Apollo Theatre in NYC, Rosie O' Donnell Show, Jenny Jones Show, and Star Search but the latter unfortunately was not televised. In 2000 after his best friend and performing partner succumbed to breast cancer he decided he'd move to California and polish his skills in acting and show business. Malik has also self published two poetry books and enjoys the gift of expression found in poetry. Humbled as a poet, inspiring actor, model, recording artist, and family man. He takes nothing for granted and remains determined to make a difference through his many talents.
