Teja Gregorin was born on 29 June 1980 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She is a professional biathlete. Her career began as a cross-country skier but in 2002 she was already in biathlon. Gregorin participated in three Winter Olympic Games so far - in 2006, 2010 and 2014. She won the bronze Olympic medal in the 10 km pursuit event in Sochi in 2014. That is the highlight and biggest success in her career. In the other disciplines, Gregorin was 11th in the Individual, 15th in the sprint and 5th in the mass start. In Vancouver in 2010 she also had good placings, although didn't win any medal. She was 36th in the Individual, 9th in both the sprint and pursuit, 5th in the mass start and 8th in the relay. Gregorin won two silver medals from the World Championships in 2009 in Pyeongchang and 2012 in Ruhpolding - in the Individual and mixed relay respectfully. She took part in 7 World Championships during her career. The two silver medals aside, her best personal performance was 6th place in the Individual in 2008, 5th in the mass start in 2011 and 7th in the pursuit in 2007. Gregorin participated in the 2014 World Summer Championships on roller skis, held in Tyumen. She dominated over the others as she won 3 medals - 2 gold in the 7.5 km sprint and 10 km pursuit; and one bronze in the mixed relay. On a World Cup level, Gregorin hasn't achieve her first victory yet. But she has one 3rd place in the mass start in Holmenkollen and has been in the Top 5 a couple of times.
