Charlotte Rhodes

Charlotte Annne Rhodes is a British actress, originally from Stockport, Greater Manchester. She teaches Adult Literacy, and English, at the highly acclaimed, 'outstanding' Ashton Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester- a job she is immensely proud of. Her Mother is a retired nurse and her Father runs a motorcycle MOT centre in Stockport. Charlotte is represented by Una Evans O'Connell, of EOC Management in Manchester. She has worked professionally in film, theatre and television. Andrew Edwards, from The British Theatre Guide, said the following of Charlotte's debut performance with The Manchester Shakespeare Company: 'Charlotte has a very relaxed and easy stage presence. She immediately connects with the audience... with such breathtaking élan, she is a joy to watch.' She has since played an eclectic and varied range of Shakespearean characters, from Lady Macbeth to Lear's Fool. One highlight of Charlotte's career has been working on the BFI and Creative England film, Remora (2018) playing substance-user, 'Cheryl Peters.' which debuted at the iconic 'Regent St Cinema' in London in 2018; it then went on the be showcased at a variety of UK venues, including Manchester's HOME Arts Centre. Charlotte also played 'jailbird' Danielle, on Coronation Street in 2017. Other work includes Emmerdale Farm (2015) and Nancy (2020.)
