Ashish Yagnik

Ashish Yagnik was born in Ahmedabad, India. He moved with his family to the United States at the age of 12 and grew up in Forest Hills, New York. Ashish pursued a career in the financial industry, which he actively maintains. He also enjoys teaching and is an adjunct professor as well as an ACT and SAT teacher. In addition, his passion from the beginning has been and remains films and writing. Ashish made his first short film in 2012, titled "Kyle & Sarah's Story". After satisfactorily completing the project, Ashish decided to expand the story into a feature film. After spending much of the next two years preparing to make his first feature film, the production began for "Home By Now" in November, 2014. The film was shot entirely on location in New York City and the post-production of the film was completed in early 2016. Hence, "Home By Now" marks the culmination of the project for Ashish that began over five years ago. Ashish lives in New York with his wife and children.
